I think that’s my favorite response! I love people’s reactions to my artwork as much as I love creating it. When I work in the underwater environment, I am reminded that I can do whatever I want and change the perception of photographic art. I’ve landed in a unique field where I can blend my photographic skill, love for SCUBA diving, and vivid taste in color.

I’ve never had the sense that I should blend into what is considered “normal” in any aspect of my life. I started out learning how to photograph underwater wildlife and then thought, “What would that look like in a pool with a model and some fabric?” Whatever the current norm is, I’ve always wanted to take it to the next level and add some strange seasoning of my own to the mix.
